or for those who simply love exceptional flavor. INGREDIENTS 1 stick (1 /2 cup) unsalted butter,
room temperature 2/3 cup unsulphured molasses 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 2 large eggs 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 tsp. ground ginger ¼
tsp.ground cloves ½
tsp.salt 1 ½
tsp.Colman's Dry Mustard Powder 2/3 cup hot coffee
DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 35o·F.
2. Grease a g inch square baking pan.
3. Beat together butter and brown sugar until light and creamy. Mix together molasses and eggs until well combined.
4. Sift in flour. baking soda. spices. Colman's Dry Mustard Powder and salt.
5. Mix until smooth. add coffee and stir.
6. Pour batter in the baking pan and bake 30-40 minutes.
7. Cool. cut and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
