Use your weekly shopping trip as an opportunity to incorporate some exercise into your day. Park in the furthest lot and walk at a brisk pace into the store. After you’ve picked up your weekly haul, take another lap (or two) around the store to get in those additional steps. Carry your bags from the check-out to the car, and bonus points for basket bicep curls ;). If you have too many grocery bags to tote, take the longest route with your cart to your car. When you arrive home, accrue more steps by carrying one bag at a time from the car into your house.
