CLEARWATER, FL — Solder star is presenting its latest process verification technologies, devel- oped to help electronics manufac- turers achieve consistent, repeat- able soldering performance through improved visibility of machine behavior and process conditions at APEX Expo 2026. The solutions on display in-
clude Solderstar’s VP10 thermal profiler and VP shuttle verifica- tion fixture for vapor phase sol-

dering, together with the
WaveShuttle O2 for wave solder- ing. These systems extend tradi- tional temperature profiling by enabling verification of the sol- dering process itself. By captur- ing multiple parameters in a con- trolled and repeatable way, Solderstar’s verification tools support machine qualification, routine process checks and ongo- ing production control, helping manufacturers distinguish be-
tween machine-related variation and product-specific behavior. A key focus will be Solder -
star’s new vapor phase verifica- tion suite, combining the VP10 thermal profiler with the VP shut- tle verification fixture. The VP10 thermal profiler features a low- profile design measuring just 37 mm in height, allowing it to pass easily through vapor phase sys- tems while providing ten meas- urement channels to capture de- tailed thermal data across high- mass components, small passives and critical board areas. The VP shuttle verification fixture is a dedicated tool for vapor phase ma- chine qualification, assessing tem- perature uniformity across the oven work zone using fixed, re- peatable measurement points to confirm stable and consistent heating conditions. Also, on display will be the
WaveShuttle O2, Solderstar’s lat- est verification solution for wave
soldering. Building on the estab- lished WaveShuttle platform, the system adds real-time oxygen measurement to a single-pass, multi-parameter verification ap- proach. Alongside oxygen concen-
tration, WaveShuttle O2 meas- ures temperature profile, wave contact, height, line speed, incli- nation angle and process vibra- tion. This allows engineers to ver- ify nitrogen inerting performance, correlate solder quality with at- mospheric conditions and identify machine-related instability such as excessive vibration. All solutions integrate with
Solderstar’s SLX datalogger platform, providing a unified ap- proach to profiling and verifica- tion across multiple soldering technologies. This supports audit requirements, long-term process control and repeatable produc- tion outcomes across different
machines and product types. Contact: Solderstar LLC,
