Luminovo Expands Intelligent Quoting and Supply-Chain Automation Across North America

applying software and artificial intelligence to some of the indus- try’s most persistent challenges: quoting complexity, BOM man- agement, and supply-chain volatility. Serving both OEMs and EMS providers, the company enables faster decision-making, improved cost transparency, and greater operational resilience across the product lifecycle. lead for North America, Sam Mason plays a central role in scaling Luminovo’s presence in the region. His responsibilities span compliance, customer suc- cess, and go-to-market execution, while also acting as a bridge be- tween Luminovo’s European roots and the specific require- ments of the North American market. “My goal is to take the Luminovo platform and Lumino- vo success from Europe and transplant it into North Ameri- ca,” Mason says, describing his

A Resilient Supply Chain Luminovo’s mission centers
on accelerating innovation by strengthening connectivity across the electronics supply chain. “Our company mission is to bring inno- vations to life faster and cheaper by creating a more connected and more resilient electronics supply chain,” Mason explains. At the core of that mission is quoting in- telligence — using data, automa- tion, and AI to reduce RFQ re- sponse times, identify competitive component pricing, and help man- ufacturers win profitable busi- ness.
The company’s expansion
into North America followed strong early adoption and the completion of key regulatory milestones, including ITAR com- pliance. Mason’s own back- ground in the EMS industry in- fluenced the decision, shaped by firsthand experience during the 2020 supply-chain crisis. “In
2025, we saw significant adop- tion of Luminovo in North Amer- ica, validating our market fit and allowing us to double down,” he says.
Accelerating Quoting Luminovo’s platform delivers
differentiated value depending on customer type. For EMS providers, the soft-
ware streamlines the quoting workflow from BOM ingestion to fully costed RFQs, reducing re- sponse times while protecting margins. For OEMs, the focus shifts to-
ward cost optimization, supply- chain risk mitigation, and produc- tion continuity. “We help maxi- mize a team’s impact by automat- ing the routine so they can focus on strategic decision-making,” Mason notes. Customers in North Ameri-
ca are already seeing measurable results. Quoting cycles that once took days or weeks are frequent- ly reduced to same-day turn- around, along with average com- ponent cost savings of approxi- mately five percent. By aggregat- ing data from more than 100 partners, the platform also sup- ports inventory visibility, alter- native sourcing, and total cost of ownership analysis, including the impact of tariffs.
Differentiation Through Innovation

both its scope and its pace of in- novation. The company main- tains a roughly 50-person engi- neering team and embeds artifi- cial intelligence across core workflows such as BOM import- ing, PCB pricing, and manufac- turing cost estimation. While many platforms rely primarily on distributor APIs, Luminovo extends automation deeper into quoting and costing functions.
Luminovo is the connective tissue in the electronics supply chain, reducing unnecessary friction and helping manufacturers stay competitive worldwide.
Partnerships strengthen the
platform’s value. Luminovo works with distributors, PCB shops, and data providers on the supply side, while an ambassador program helps expand its reach through industry representatives. In par- allel, APIs and webhooks allow customers to integrate Luminovo with existing enterprise systems, positioning the platform as foun- dational infrastructure for the electronics supply chain. Looking ahead, Luminovo
plans to continue focusing on EMS providers in North Ameri- ca, following a playbook that has proven successful in Eu- rope. Mason expects rapid growth and views the company as a long-term enabler of com- petitiveness in higher-cost man- ufacturing regions. “Luminovo is the connective tissue in the electronics supply chain,” he says, helping reduce friction and improve resilience in a complex
