ISS INVITED TO RETURN TO SOUTH


WARWICKSHIRE South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust has named ISS Healthcare as its new Soft Services provider in a contract that is worth almost £45m over the initial five years.


The award was made through the LPP Framework and will see ISS providing Patient Catering and Retail, Cleaning, Linen, Logistics and Security Services


across four sites, including the impressive new Stratford Hospital.


The existing Restaurant at Warwick Hospital is scheduled to be redesigned for staff and visitors whilst a high street standard Café Qualita and SPAR convenience store will offer choice that meets the current CQUIN standards.


The award marks the return of ISS to the Trust as they provided services to them up until 2010. This is the second NHS Trust to return to ISS this year, closely following South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

DIVERSEY BECOMES STANDALONE COMPANY FOLLOWING


ACQUISITION Bain Capital Private Equity has completed its purchase of Diversey from Sealed Air Corporation, after the transaction was first announced on 27th March 2017.


Diversey will now be a standalone company that will include the Diversey Care division of Sealed Air, as well as the food hygiene solution business that was part of its Food Care division.


Dr. Ilham Kadri, appointed CEO of Diversey upon completion of the sale, commented: “As an independent business, we will have the ability to be smarter and more agile than ever before as we introduce enhanced technology and innovation.
