NVIRO A SHINING SUCCESS WITH NEW
BUSINESS Nviro has secured a succession of new cleaning contracts worth roughly £4m, marking a successful start to the company’s quarter and new financial year.
Nviro’s portfolio of schools and colleges has been boosted following contract wins with Fareham College, Chichester Free School, Bishop Challoner Federation of Schools in East London and King’s College School in Wimbledon with a combined contract value of £2m.
Nviro has also secured a three-year, multi-lot contract with Sovereign Housing Association. The contract, with an initial value of £1m, covers supported and general needs housing across four of their regions – Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.
As well as re-establishing their relationship with former client Yokogawa Marex, a specialist software solutions company based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, Nviro has also secured a three- year contract with customer care outsourcing specialist, Ascensos. The contract sees Nviro providing an all-inclusive facilities management solution (incorporating security, washroom, waste management and feminine hygiene services) at its brand new, purpose-built and prestigious social media-based call centre on the Isle of Wight.

The company has also successfully retained its long-term partnership with Portsmouth International Port, a contract with a potential lifespan of 10 years.
The Council and the Port ran a complex competitive tender process to evaluate if the cleaning provision should be taken in-house. The tender went out to the open market with Nviro successfully retaining the contract for at least the next seven years, with options to extend a further three.
This is the first contract where Nviro has incorporated a laser-guided Robo 2 cleaning machine (affectionately known as ‘Jennifer’ by the team at the Port) as part of their solution.
