UNTOUCHABLE INNOVATION FROM
OPHARDT OPHARDT hygiene, specialist in hand hygiene solutions and dispenser systems, was awarded the 2017 Purus Innovation Award in the ‘Washroom Hygiene’ category.
Taking place on the first day of the CMS Berlin 2017 Trade Fair, the CMS Purus Innovation Awards’ jury accepts product submissions from approximately 450 CMS exhibitors, and nominates submissions in six Innovation Award categories.

£3,900 RAISED FOR RNIB AT CHSA GOLF
TOURNAMENT The CHSA’s 10th annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament raused £3,900 for the Chairman’s charity, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), thanks to CHSA members and their guests.
Combined with money already raised at the Gala Ball, the CHSA has now generated £14,000 for the RNIB this year.
Shaun Chatterton, CHSA Council Member and the driving force behind the gold day, said: “We’re delighted to have raised so much for our Chairman’s Charity, the Royal National Institute of Blind People. Our members are always incredibly generous and this year was no exception.
“Every year we try to raise the bar with the entertainment laid on for players and their guests. Tricky Rob got the day off to a great start, involving players and our celebrity guests in his antics, while John Parrott entertained us at the end of the day with lots of funny, true stories from his life.”

Professional Golfers Association, the annual Pro-Am golf tournament is a popular fixture in the calendar. With a total of 20 teams taking part, the tournament was bigger than ever.
A team from Office Depot, making its debut at the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers’ Association’s (CHSA)
annual Golf Day, emerged the winner, with teams from Scott Janitorial and Polaris Plastics second and third respectively. The top amateur player on the day was Simon Cooper of Northwood Hygiene.
