ABM receives glowing EcoVadis rating

ABM, a provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, has announced it has been awarded a Silver EcoVadis sustainability rating.

With an impressive score of 74, this places the business in the top 15% of organisations globally assessed by EcoVadis, and within the top 8% of all submissions worldwide.

EcoVadis is a provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluating over 130,000 companies across more than 180 industries and 175 countries. The assessment measures performance across four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

ABM’s rating demonstrates significant achievements in sustainability, with standout results including ‘Leader in Environment’, achieving 88 out of 100 points and being ‘Advanced in Labour and Human Rights’, reflecting ABM’s commitment to its people and ethical practices.

The Silver recognition is an important milestone in ABM’s ongoing journey to embed sustainability and responsible business practices across its operations.

Graham Moxon, Director, Sustainability UK & Ireland, said: “To be placed in the top 8% of companies worldwide is a real testament to the efforts of our teams and our partners who drive positive change every day.

“We’re particularly proud of our environmental performance, which reflects our commitment to helping clients and communities thrive while reducing our impact on the planet."

www.abm.co.uk Double award celebration for Becky Wall

Herefordshire entrepreneur Becky Wall BEM is celebrating a remarkable double success – having been named Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 at the Herefordshire Means Business Awards and also receiving a Silver Award for Lifetime Achievement at the national Best Business Women Awards 2025.

The Herefordshire Means Business Awards event took place at The Paddocks Hotel, Symonds Yat. Becky, co-owner of Loo of the Year Awards and co-founder of A Plush Flush, was shortlisted for two categories: Entrepreneur of the Year and Business Leader of the Year.

Becky said: “To be announced Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 is such a proud moment. This award recognises my work with both A Plush Flush and Loo of the Year Awards, but it’s truly a shared success with my husband Charles, who co- owns and runs both businesses, and with our daughters, family members and close friends who’ve supported us for over 20 years.”

This follows Becky’s recognition on the national stage when she received a Silver Lifetime Achievement Award at the Best Business Women Awards 2025. The awards, held at the Daventry Court Hotel, recognise women who are not only building successful businesses but also creating positive impact and inspiring others to follow.

Becky continued: “It’s an incredible honour to be a silver award winner in the Lifetime Achievement category. It was an extremely competitive field and humbling to be placed alongside other amazing women in business. To be recognised both locally and nationally in the same month is just incredible.”

Becky and her husband Charles Wall established A Plush Flush in 2005 after spotting a gap in the market for luxury mobile washrooms for events, private occasions and festivals. Based in Herefordshire, the business has provided high- quality facilities for two decades.

A Plush Flush was also a regular entrant and supporter of the Loo of the Year Awards, a long-established UK-wide quality grading system celebrating venues offering outstanding washrooms. In 2021, Becky and Charles took over the awards as Directors, and since then the scheme has gone from strength to strength, now averaging more than 1,500 entries annually.

Through both ventures, Becky continues to champion better toilets for all, whether by celebrating washroom excellence through the Loo of the Year Awards or

delivering top-quality mobile facilities via A Plush Flush.
