Commercial contract cleaning provider Ecocleen has announced that Peter David has been promoted to Head of Systems and Compliance.
With over 25 years of experience in the franchise industry, he ensures the business, its employees and its franchisees comply with all relevant regulations and specifications, focusing on
improving efficiency and driving sustainability.
In his new role, Peter will be instrumental in reviewing Ecocleen’s current compliance systems, procedures and processes, ensuring all stakeholders are on board with these measures. He is also responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business, as well as providing training to make sure the message of compliance and sustainability is shared with all employees.
With this in mind, Peter has introduced an initial three-day comprehensive training course in which staff are educated on regulations applicable to their job function in the
cleaning industry, before returning for a refresher course after six weeks.
Peter commented: “I am delighted to be leading the compliance team and look forward to building on the company’s strategies. Looking ahead, I will continue working with the growing Ecocleen team to implement long-term goals and plans for compliance, to ensure we are playing our part in tackling climate change and enforcing high standards on behalf of our customers and franchise partners.”
Mark McMullen, Chief Commercial Officer at Ecocleen, added: “We are all delighted to be working with Peter as he brings a wealth of experience to the team, making a great contribution to the ambitious vision and leadership Ecocleen requires to continue our upward trajectory. Peter has already spearheaded plans of action, and I’m thrilled to work closely with him to continue driving Ecocleen’s continuous improvement in sustainability.”
Ecocleen annually undertakes a strategic review of the business to identify the next phase of the company’s sustainability plans. Its main focus is on reducing environmental impact and Ecocleen has recently moved its central office operation to Howbery Park, a sustainable 70- acre solar-powered business park.
