2018 is off to quite a chilly start, but here at TCHQ we’ve been warming ourselves up by spreading the word about the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2018. Voting is live, so be sure to check out our Awards Guide, pick your favourite and vote by 16 March 2018.
This month, we take a look at the world of Transport Cleaning, as Churchill Services discusses the challenges of their cleaning contract with Govia Thameslink Railway. Meanwhile, I take a look into Japan’s Seven Minute Miracle, where Shinkansen bullet trains are cleaned and prepared with amazing efficiency.
In our Disposables feature, Diversey looks at the hygiene performance of disposable microfibre in comparison to reusable systems, Chicopee looks into disposable methods of eliminating the threat of cross-contamination in healthcare environments, while Northwood proves indispensible to one eight year old girl and her mum.

Finally, in our bumper Software section, SmartTask tells us about how they helped Apple Blossom Cleaning streamline their operations, and Ezitracker’s Christian Berenger shows us how mobile technology is the key to success in the cleaning industry. Templa offers us an insight into how business management software can address challenges, and Essity’s Steve Palmer tells us how sensors can be used to make improvements in the world of cleaning.
