Now clearly there are challenges along the way: customers, staff, systems and process to name a few, but these are all worked through by the team and we are learning fast to make sure our platform gets stronger every day. Our acquisitions have bought extensive infrastructure to ICE and that in turn will help us to serve our customers better.


How much growth do you see in the UK market, and is expansion abroad potentially on the horizon?


There are lots of different ways to value the market and it’s easy to get caught up in that. But what I will say is that we see a growing market with plenty of opportunity for the right companies; but it is not going to be easy, there will be a lot of agility and flexibility needed and I think the market will change shape quite dramatically in the short/medium term, paving the way for a very

different landscape as we go through 2020 and focus on 2025, both in the cleaning and FM space and wider crossover markets.


As for international, we do sell second hand trade machines across Europe, North American and even as far as Australia. I think it could also play a part in our future strategy for new equipment, but right now we are extremely focussed on our position in the UK market.


What’s next for ICE?


We work tirelessly as team to research new ground-breaking propositions, and really push boundaries to set ourselves apart with leading differentiators. Innovation is extremely important to us, and we strive to stay


ahead of the game in both equipment and technological advances, and this year will be no different.


Robotics continues to play an integral part in our strategy, and we have extensive experience in this area. Following on from the Robo 2 which was launched in 2016, we are very excited to announce that the Robo 3, our newest automated scrubber dryer packed with new features is now available for purchase or rental. With the Robo 3, we are now seeing mapping of cleaning zones that previously took one hour, now being completed in just one minute. Plus, it is now even able to drive itself to the cleaning start point, and clean multiple areas during one cleaning cycle.
