Bona pioneered the use of waterborne finishes for wooden floors during the 1970’s and has an outstanding reputation for ongoing development of truly sustainable solutions. The comprehensive Bona System of products includes low VOC polyurethane lacquers, oils, hard wax oils and colours as well as reactive adhesives and sub floor preparations for safe and effective fastening. Key products include the lacquers Bona Traffic and Bona Mega – both specified across the world to protect the floors in many historic or famous buildings. Newest Bona products include a new Extra Matt version of Bona Mega and Bona Prime Amberseal which gives a rich colouration previously only achievable by using a solvent based primer.
