A PERFECT TRANSFORMATION


FOR TRANSPERFECT After the recent fit-out of its European headquarters in the newly renovated Aldgate House, London, global business translation company, Transperfect, is enjoying the design and performance of carpet tiles from modulyss.


Specified by interior design and fit-out experts, GTA Interior, three designs from modulyss are now in use in the meeting rooms and open plan offices of Transperfect, meeting the need for a hardwearing floor designs to the industrial concrete finishes and exposed services. Over 3,300m2


of


product has been installed, cleverly used as insets to hard flooring to create area rugs for seating areas, and as wall-to-wall flooring in work areas and meeting rooms.


The vintage charm of Patchwork in 610 delivers high visual impact in breakout areas, at times bordered in meeting rooms by the elegance of Pattern 610 - a functional subtle pattern in a grey tonal colourway. In working areas, the tip-sheared loop texture of Mxture features; inspired by architectural design, the carpet tile is used in the practical deep grey colour combination of 961.

Choosing patterns and textures to work with the industrial concrete and exposed finishes of the offices, the modulyss carpet tiles have lived up to the concepts and visuals presented to the client and they are very pleased with the overall effect.”


GTA’s approach to the interior is also proof of concept for modulyss’ mix- and-match approach to carpet tile design. The fit-out practice was free to choose the most suitable design for the task, confident that designs and colours would work in harmony with each other and deliver an individual yet entirely balanced floor scheme.

IT’S NOT AN URBAN MYTH Contract interiors specialist Gradus has extended its carpet portfolio to include Urban Myth, a brand-new range that features a striking design.


The Urban Myth range is a premium, textured loop pile carpet available in both tile and plank formats. Reflecting current design and colour trends, the range includes a choice of complementary shades, comprising six grey base tones and six vibrant accent colours that can be combined to create stunning installations.

It can also be used to create a softer, blended transition across the floor, with the option of adding a vibrant accent colour to emphasise specific areas to create an exciting design statement.
