“Effective cleaning and sanitisation, workflow optimisation and
environmental controls are needed to enhance existing protocols and hygiene practices.”
A bin washing revolution
Morclean introduces a revolutionary bin washing solution for safer management and sanitisation of both clinical and food waste.
Health and safety in industries where waste management is crucial has never mattered more than it does right now, especially within COVID-sensitive environments such as healthcare, and the food and drink sectors.
Medical waste contaminated with bodily fluids or other infectious materials is a rising concern for hospitals all around the globe, especially with the surge in patients with confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. Likewise, the food industry is tasked with introducing even more stringent cleaning measures amidst the reopening of restaurants and bars, and food manufacturing plants increasing production. This means that effective cleaning and sanitisation, workflow optimisation and environmental controls are needed to enhance existing protocols and hygiene practices within both industries.
Morclean has recently launched the new and revolutionary BinWash AUTO, alongside the fully-installed BinWash STATION. This state-of-the-art technology sanitises waste within completely safe, enclosed environments.
BinWash AUTO
The BinWash AUTO has specifically been designed to automatically clean any size of EU wheelie bin. With one button operation, bins are lifted within the contained housing before the cleaning heads are activated. The outer housing provides a secondary anti-splash area around the wheelie bin, containing any overspray.
The 360° rotary heads are then switched on, turning in a bi- directional manner, to ensure that all four sides and the base of the bin are thoroughly cleaned – all without the need for manual washing.
Any residual water is then drained into the enclosed catchment area and the bins are lowered to the floor

again, where the adjustable mechanism ensures they are returned to the finished floor level and do not need to be lifted off the device.
BinWash STATION
The entirely static BinWash STATION, which can be manufactured with a hot or cold cleaning system, provides a cleaning station for fixed locations, where wheelie bins are commonly returned to base to be cleaned. The STATION enables operators to manually clean the inside and outside of bins with the option of recycled or fresh water.
Bins are cleaned within the STATION by means of either a two- or three-part process. They can be pre-sprayed inside or out with product to assist cleaning or sanitising, then elevated above a catchment tray to collect any waste water from the manually operated internal washing process. Finally, the bins can be wheeled to the last area where a post-spray can be carried out, along with options for external cleaning, all within an enclosed and fully drained wash area, so no overspray or waste water can fall onto the floor.
Both systems have been designed to clean either two EU domestic sized bins, or one commercial bin, serving a whole host of medical, clinical and surgical environments – the NHS, private hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, dental practices, veterinary practices care homes, tattoo studios – or the food and drink industry.
If you’re looking for a cleaning solution you can rely on to thoroughly cleanse and protect the direct environment, look no further than the BinWash AUTO and BinWash STATION.
