4 Hello everyone and welcome to the March issue of Tomorrow’s Flooring.

Believe it or not, this issue will mark a whole 12 months since the magazine launched in March 2010. I really hope you’ve enjoyed Tomorrow’s Flooring in its first year and will continue to find it useful in years to come.

So what do we have in store for you in our birthday issue?

Well, we’ve focused on Carpet and Carpet Tiles this month, an area we can always depend on to pick up the industry in a tough economy – and as you can see from our features, contract carpets are no longer boring, but are increasingly becoming a fantastic tool for interior designers and architects to ‘complete’ a room.

We’ve also taken a look at the more serious, technical side of things with a look at Industrial Flooring, and Surface Preparation.

But we’ve also been given some insight into where the flooring industry is headed thanks to a study from AMA Research. Times may have been difficult in the past year or two, but the forecasts may be a pleasant surprise for some of you.

As well as this, we’ve also spoken to a floor fitter from the North West, who has been in the business for over 20 years – giving a great look into the day to day life of a fitter and how much the role has changed over the years.

There’s plenty to have a nosey at in this issue. And don’t forget to click into our April issue next month where we are looking at sustainability, a huge factor in everyone’s work ethic, with our thoughts on this month’s big trade show, Ecobuild.

But until then, enjoy the March issue. Take care, and bye for now.
