Because carpet handling and distribution is such a specialised area, Rhys Davies established a storage and handling system to ensure the unusual aspects of handling the product were catered for.

A stunning motif featuring the national flags and landmark buildings from five European countries was designed by pupils in collaboration with Polyflor’s Expressions Design Service for Parklands High School, a specialist language college in Chorley, Lancashire.

To keep track of stock movements, Rhys Davies uses a dedicated Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system whereby every carpet is scanned in or out of the warehouse giving the client detailed information about the status of each delivery. “The floor is beautifully crafted, a constant reminder of a key focus for our school. It is also a wonderful tribute to the talent of our

pupils and Polyflor and an excellent example of team work - we are all really proud of the outcome.” explains Claire Hollister, Headteacher.

Polyflor 2000 PUR offers a range of 20 multi-tone shades, each featuring two base shades and two highlight tones. The high quality polyurethane reinforcement, combined with a superior closed surface finish, can cut maintenance costs by up to 48% by facilitating a low cost, polish-free maintenance regime for the lifetime of the floorcovering.
