04 | EDITOR'S VOICE Hello everyone and welcome to much-awaited second issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning Ireland. CMY
Since our launch issue, at the end of last year, I’ve been inundated with people asking me: “When’s the next one?” And I’m now happy to say it’s here. We may only be quarterly, for now, but we still pack a punch.
Back again, just a few months on, I’ve been looking at just a few of the key areas of the cleaning industry – Contract Cleaning, Vacuums & Sweepers, and Retail & Daytime Cleaning. We have a great case study at Hardwicke House in Dublin, Ryans Cleaning shares its experience when it comes to ISO accreditation and Shane Curran, Managing Director at National Support Services Ltd., takes a look at standards, and asks why some of us have them and some of us don’t.
We also have the latest training information from BICSc, including details of approved training centres throughout Ireland. And I also chatted to the new Chairperson of the ICCA, Roisin Farrell-Quinn, who answered our Tomorrow’s Cleaning Ireland Ten Questions.
I hope you’ll enjoy our second issue and I also hope you will keep sharing your news and innovations with me, and we can show that the Irish cleaning market stands strong on its own.
See you next time. K
