Q3 Q4
Q1 Q2
What was your first job? My first job was actually working as
a cleaner!
How did you get into the cleaning industry?
My mum asked me to cover her role, as she needed time off at the time, so the company she worked for set me up and I started from there.
Q5
Who, in any other industry do you most admire?
Richard Branson – I don’t need to elaborate do I!?
If money was no object, what car would you buy?
Definitely an Aston Martin DB9.
How would you improve the cleaning industry?
I would like the REA to be signed by the minister, so our staff have JLC rates of pay. I would also like to see an improvement in how companies treat the cleaning industry, to ensure that they give more respect and notice the work that a cleaning operative does.

Q8
What did you want to be when you were little?
A police officer.
What do you do to unwind? Sometimes, I like to have a glass of
wine, mainly at the weekends, I like to take my daughter to the nail salon, so we both can have either a manicure or just a shellac polish applied.
If you could have a dinner party with any three people, dead or
alive, with one other person cooking and the other person providing the music, who would they be and why? My husband, Kevin Quinn - I admire his way of business life - now he doesn’t always get it right but that’s why he has me! Kevin has inspired in many ways too. Richard Branson for music as he started off with a music store, and Gordon Ramsay as chef, as he has 15 Michelin stars and takes no crap from anyone!

The cleaning industry is evolving - so pushing technology and innovation is key. I also believe that environmentally-friendly products, that reduce cost to clients, are also the future too.
