and dry vacuums The Nilfisk-Advance Group has launched a new range of wet & dry vacuums designed to offer performance, usability and long life. Production of the new models follows a long term R&D project which took clear direction from customers and end users.
The VL500 range is available in 3 models: 35l single motor, 55l dual motor and 75l dual motor. The two larger versions are supplied with the new innovative Ergo tilt trolley which moves the centre of gravity as the container is lifted, greatly reducing the effort required.
With the innovative dual filtration system, the VL500 can be used in any environment, wet or dry, without the need to change filters. A failsafe filter design ensures easy operation as individual wet and dry filters work simultaneously. Each filter is specific for either a wet or dry application ensuring maximum performance.

This new technology allows the mops to be stored wet overnight, whilst remaining hygienic and eliminating the development of bad odours, unlike standard mops. All models feature a unique hinged motor head which can be locked into position with a single handed locking mechanism. The pivoting motor head means that the motor can be totally removed or locked into position to minimise lifting and handling. This unique feature allows the motor head to be locked open while the container dries overnight thereby alleviating moisture and hygiene issues.
The 55 litre and 75 litre versions have 2 emptying options, either tip and pour or drain hose. The ergo trolley system has a patented track system that allows the motor head to remain in place whilst the container is emptied. The weight of the motor assists the lift and acts as a counter balance for the weight of the container. The system allows heavy machines to be emptied by lightweight individuals reducing the risk of injury and speeding up the process.
