Moneysupermarket names new CEO Moneysupermarket Group has announced the appointment of a new CEO who will replace Mark Lewis. Peter Duffy who is currently chief executive of Just East will join the business ahead of Lewis’ planned departure on August 31st. Duffy commented: “I’m thrilled to be joining Moneysupermarket Group, a company I have always admired. We’re here to save customers money, and with people facing so much uncertainty at the moment, this has never been more important.”
BigCommerce names EMEA general manager BigCommerce has announced that Jim Herbert has joined the company as vice president and general manager for EMEA. With more than two decades of eCommerce sector experience, Herbert will lead the company’s European operations, working to extend BigCommerce’s presence in continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He is replacing Mark Adams, who has led the UK office since its opening in 2018 and will be leaving to take over as CEO of Attraqt, which is a BigCommerce technology partner.
New CEO for Donald Russell D2C butchery business Donald Russell has appointed Mike Hoban is its new chief executive.
Kendrick promoted to Studio CEO role Paul Kendrick who joined Studio in 2016 as its commercial & deputy managing director, becoming managing director in April 2017, is to become its new CEO.
New president for Orvis
Orvis, the American family-owned outdoor retailer, has announced the appointment of Simon Perkins to president, effective immediately. Perkins will assume full strategic and operational leadership of the company as president and is the third generation of the Perkins family to lead Orvis since 1965. As chief operating officer since August 2018, Perkins has overseen the execution of the company’s long- term strategic planning. He is the son of Leigh “Perk” Perkins, former Orvis CEO, and grandson of Leigh H. Perkins, who purchased The Orvis Company in 1965.
