All-green ULT Freezers for Secure Sample Storage


Following on their path of sustainability, Eppendorf has now re-designed the 400 L ULT freezer class. By totally furnishing the outstanding ultra-low temperature freezer with future-proof green cooling liquids and green insulation foam, users combine improved performance with sustainability.


By combining longevity and quality with sustainability aspects, the CryoCube F440 series is the well-accepted standard format ULT freezer for the lab. 440 L of -80°C can be filled with up to 320 freezer storage boxes.


Low energy consumption of down to 6,8 KWh/ day (-80°C; 230 V) is combined with powerful pull-down to -80°C within 200 min and fast recovery back to -80°C after door opening: The perfect solution for freezers which are used in the lab on daily basis - keep valuable samples safe at constant conditions.


Compared to its precursor, the CryoCube F440 saves up to 23% of power combined with 30% more space.


This is a further building block in a long green Eppendorf freezer story. Eppendorf now has more than 13 years of experience in research and development, production, logistics, and service in the field of green ULT freezers, compliant to F-gas regulation and SNAP.


The new CryoCube F440 series can be connected to VisioNize® Lab Suite for monitoring via VisioNize box. The eLabInventory sample management software can support the smart Eppendorf storage solution of high-value samples.

More powerful circulating pump


Julabo has upgraded the DYNEO series with a considerably more powerful circulating pump as standard. This signifi cantly increases the pump capacity of the devices to a supply pressure of 0.1 ... 0.7 bar and a fl ow rate of 8 ... 27 l/min. This means an increase in performance by about +17%. The products remain unchanged with respect to the proven control, handling, and dimensions.


Safe and easy handling


For quick and convenient access, all controls and security functions are easy to operate from the front. With the unique rotary knob (controller), the DYNEO series offers a new operating option. The entire menu and all settings are controlled directly via the central operating element on the front of the circulators. Circulator and refrigeration unit can be switched on and off simultaneously using the mains switch on the top of the circulator. The pump can be switched between internal and external circulation directly under the display. To ensure that the data can be read easily even from a distance, the DYNEO has a robust and bright industrial display. The temperature control medium is drained quickly and easily via the integrated drain tap - without the need for additional tools.

CO2 Incubator with Built-in Roller for Successful Cell Experiments


The high quality CO2 Incubator developed and produced by Wiggens is ideal for the cultivation of animal cells, sperm/ovum, anaerobic cells, all sorts of microbe cells, hatching/ germinating and special tissues.


The system combines fast heat up, fast-recovery and stable control within a compact design. Electrical heating wire is covered on all sides of chamber as warm air from the heating wire is preserved in the space between chamber and insulation. All of these design features makes for stable uniformity and provides fast heat-up time and temperature recovery. The insulated dry wall does not require regular maintenance. The bottom heater warms the water tray and provides the humidification, whilst a circulation fan delivers the moisture formed from the water in entire chamber. Heating by the front door and frame prevent condensation in the chamber and on the glass door.


The Celrol Elite roller apparatus is designed for use in the production of various attachment cells. The units are available in 5 bottle positions up to 88 bottle positions. It can be easily placed in the Wiggens CO2 incubator.


The Wiggens Roller apparatus allows users to grow cell attachments from standard plastic bottles at a convenient scale. The advantage of roller culture is that it can increase the surface area of the cell, and the gentle rotation is beneficial to cell growth. As the flask rotates, the cells leave the medium for a period of time and are suspended in the air, increasing the exchange of gas and facilitating cell growth.


For vaccine production or when high production is required, Celrol Elite can be used to add additional layers (up to 11) to place additional bottles as needed. It can be added to any type of bottle rolling machine. With a battery backup system and SMS alarm, it can connect the printer to directly output reports. A standard cell culture bottle of 108-121 mm in diameter and 550 mm in length can be placed in the Celrol Elite.
