Introducing Double Stack Units for Twice the Sterilising Capacity
Redesigned, Reusable Pipette Tip Boxes When epT.I.P.S.®
pipette tips were introduced by Eppendorf in 2002, they were already marketed in the popular reusable box. Now, 19 years on, the epT.I.P.S. brand has been upgraded with a fresh new look.
The new box is now called Box 2.0 and the up to date design is a consistent, modern further development of the original product outfit. Further improvements include the safer stackability of several boxes on top of each other.
After listening to customer feedback, the latest design also comes with further improvements. The viewing slits on the back of the box have largely disappeared, allaying customer concerns about possible contamination hazards.
Of course, the new Box 2.0 is also autoclavable up to 100 times and available in 3 sizes, suitable for epT.I.P.S. pipette tip sizes up to 5 mL - equivalent to 120 mm tip length.

ADVERTORIAL
Priorclave’s double-stack, research-grade laboratory autoclaves allows lab managers the option, in a given area, to significantly increase the sterilising load throughput of a similar make- up at any one time. Alternatively, they can run two different sterilising programmes concurrently for loads requiring different process settings.
This new range of front-loading, stackable autoclaves introduces the dual EH150 model, a 150-litre chamber design, and the dual EH200, a 200-litre chamber capacity model. Lab managers considering a 300 litre or 400 litre chamber now have the opportunity to invest in smaller dual 150 or 200 litre laboratory autoclave configurations, which allows greater flexibility to scheduling waste and equipment sterilisation and saves on floor space.
Each individual sterilising chamber has its own updated TACTROL®
3 control panel in a clear LCD
display. In addition to the simple to use day to day operation of previous versions, with Start, Vent and Door buttons, the updated controller provides a more simplistic approach to function settings. Altogether, it achieves exact control and delivers information on cycle process to carry out unsurpassed sterilisation efficiency.
The Tactrol® 3 controller also provides full
setting security, managed with passcodes and a manual key-switch, making it ideal for sensitive environments where pre-programs need to be kept tamperproof. These would include pharmaceutical, food and beverage, dairy as well as critical research centres.
Settings and viewing of functions are simply accessed through a five keypad and displayed on the high-resolution LCD display panel, the display is not touchscreen type. This has significant advantages for laboratory sector since settings can be made and checked without having to remove protective gloves.
Now with added sterilising capacity, the lab has the option to use both chambers to concurrently manage the same type of waste, giving a maximum load of 300/400 litres or a series of single 150/200 litre loads starting as and when items become available. A huge bonus is that the new stackable autoclaves enable laboratory staff to sterilise both waste and medium at the same time.
Priorclave’s EH150 and EH200 stackable laboratory autoclaves join a comprehensive range of sterilisers manufactured by a company that has achieved global success within many industries sectors including education, life sciences, medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, industrial, food and drink, dairy and brewing.

Meeting Motor Efficiency Regulations: EC & IE5
With the July 2021 enforcement of IE efficiency standards on all motors with rated power between 0.12kW and 1000kW because of the regulations on electric motors and variable speed (EC)2019/1781, Axair Fans are delighted to announce the launch of new 1~ and 3~ EC, IE5 motors to complement their wide range of industrial fume extraction fans.
In line with regulations and in response to customer demand the motor standards will be supplied as below where applicable:
• Mandatory minimum IE3 efficiency level for 3-phase motors with rated output from 0.75 to 1000 kW (the IE2 + VSD alternative will no longer be allowed in EEA)
• Mandatory minimum IE2 efficiency level for 3-phase motors with rated output from 0.12 kW and below 0.75 kW
Axair Fans welcome enquiries from new and existing customers on their extensive range of EC corrosion resistant fans and IE5 motors.

REDUCE FAN ENERGY
CONSUMPTION
Now offering an impressive range of energy efficient corrosion resistant fans with EC motors to reduce fan energy consumption in fume extraction systems.
Custom School Fume Fan Pack
Axair have designed the perfect package to simplify the installation of a laboratory fume cupboard ventilation system, making it easier for schools and universities to protect their users.
The School Fume Fan Pack includes all the relevant components required for an efficient, clean
and safe system; a corrosion resistant fan with motor starter, AV mounts, flexible connectors, a scroll drain, an indoor, or outdoor pedestal and an electrical isolator.
Ideal for new build projects, the tailor-made pack is the perfect choice for refurbishment and any educational facility that is looking to replace existing systems. Under stringent regulations systems should be subject to regular maintenance, inspection and testing (at least every 14 months) so the school fume pack makes this quick, simple and easy, and the additional accessories will help to ensure your system is safely and securely installed, with added future protection.
