First Opportunity to See New Discrete Analyser
SEAL Analytical (UK) will provide visitors with an opportunity to see the latest technologies in both automated discrete analysers and segmented flow analysers. The company’s expert staff will be on hand to help customers decide which method best suits their needs. WWEM 2014 will be the first ever UK opportunity to view the new AQ400 automated discrete analyser, at stands 139 & 140. The AQ400 has been designed to provide even greater speed and capacity, with improved reproducibility and greater flexibility. The AQ2 discrete analyser will also be on display offering users minimal operator involvement and the ability to run many different chemistry tests from each sample in the
same run. For those laboratories that require fast, accurate analysis for very large numbers of samples, there will be an opportunity to see an automated segmented flow analyser and automated chemical addition, sample preparation and digestion systems.

SYSTEA S.p.A. (Italy) is going to show the Easychem TOX on-line at WWEM, stand 119, an acute toxicity monitor based on luminescence bacteria that combines up to ten chemical parameters in the same unit, and can be installed as an early warning monitoring system at the inlet of water treatment plants for drinking water production.
µMAC-Smart is an innovative portable water analyser to automatically measure up to four preconfigured chemical parameters , including nutrients, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, COD/TOC by direct UV reading, BOD by “tryptophan like” fluorimetric method, turbidity/TSS and many metals even as total ions; the instrument is applicable for any kind of water including sea water.

WISKI, the established measuring data management system for water resources data from Kisters (Germany), exhibiting at WWEM stands 95 & 96, now processes sampling data (metadata) and the accompanying physico-chemical water quality information along with the usual hydrological values. Governmental authorities, water boards and research facilities will greatly benefit from this development. With the expansion of the KiWQM water quality module, WISKI is now a communal database for different departments, which enables to have a full picture of the state of the water and efficiently steer the data management processes. It is possible to update the software even further with KiECO components and also reflect the ecological aspects.
