Analytical Instrumentation Low Cost Elemental Analyser with Touchscreen Interface
The new compact, low cost benchtop Rigaku (USA) NEX QC energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) elemental analyser delivers rapid qualitative and quantitative determination of major and minor atomic elements, from sodium (11Na) through uranium (92U), in a wide variety of sample types.
Features include: Analyse 11Na to 92U non-destructively; Solids, liquids, alloys, powders and thin films; 50kV X-ray tube for wide elemental coverage; Semiconductor detector for superior data quality; Modern smartphone style "icon driven" user interface; Multiple automated tube filters for enhanced sensitivity; Convenient built in thermal printer; Low cost with unmatched performance-to-price ratio and Optional fundamental parameters
Optimised for quality control applications - Specifically designed for routine quality control applications, the new Rigaku NEX QC features an intuitive "icon-driven" touch screen interface for easy operation and a built-in printer for convenience.
Rugged and easily transportable for use in the field - Rigaku’s NEX QC was specifically designed for deployment outside of the laboratory environment. At 16 kg (35 lbs.), it is easy to pick up and carry. NEX QC is perfect for use in service trucks (see photo of unit operating in a truck bed performing oil field measurements), mobile labs, huts, trailers and temporary field facilities.
High precision with broad elemental coverage - Analyse 11Na (sodium) through 92U (uranium) across a wide range of matrices. The shuttered 50kV X-ray tube and Peltier cooled semiconductor detector delivers exceptional short-term repeatability and long-term reproducibility with excellent element peak resolution and counting statistics. This high voltage capability (50 kV), along with multiple automated X-ray tube filters, provides a wide range of applications versatility and low limits-of-detection (LOD).
Autosampler, helium and FP options Options include fundamental parameters (FP) to reduce the number of standards required for any particular application, an automatic sample changer, a sample spinner and helium purge for enhanced light element sensitivity.

New Benchtop WDXRF Elemental Analyser: Supermini200
27
As the world's only high-power benchtop sequential wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (WDXRF) spectrometer for elemental analysis of oxygen (O) through uranium (U) of almost any material, the all new Rigaku (USA) Supermini200 uniquely delivers low cost-of- ownership (COA) with high resolution and lower limits-of-detection (LLD).
Low cost of ownership - Not only is the new Rigaku Supermini200 an affordable choice for your XRF elemental analysis needs, the running costs are also low. P10 gas for the flow proportional detector is the only consumable. Supermini200 does not require a source of cooling water, plumbing, or an external chiller, thereby decreasing system maintenance and lowering the overall lifetime cost of ownership for the system and yearly budgets for consumables and maintenance.
Superior light element performance - Analysing complex matrix materials with a wide range of light and heavy elements, from trace to high concentration levels, is the instrument's core competency. Rigaku Supermini200 delivers high sensitivity for light elements with superior spectral resolution for resolving line overlaps in a complex matrices without the need for deconvolution. Analysing low concentration levels of light elements (O, F, Na, Mg, Ca, Si, Al, and P) is easy.
High power X-ray tube - Supermini200 is the only high powered (200 W) X-ray tube benchtop WDXRF system, providing excellent excitation resulting in lower detection limits and shorter measurement times. A unique and proprietary optical system is also employed to enhance sensitivity beyond the gains of the tube power.
EZ Analysis and EZ Scan - EZ Analysis is a new feature that makes every day routine operation simpler. A single interface contains everything you need to know about the status of your samples, what your data measurement parameters are, what your data analysis parameters are, and a running output of your results. EZ Scan allows you to analyse unknown samples without any prior setup and with only a few clicks of the mouse to get started. Combined with Rigaku’s SQX fundamental parameters software, it provides the most accurate and rapid XRF results possible. SQX is capable of automatically correcting for all matrix effects, including line overlaps. SQX can also correct for various atmospheres, impurities and sample film.
