These people follow their herds of sheep, goats or cattle. Such groups are called nomads. The Bedouin from North Africa are one such group of people. They live in tents because they can be packed up easily and moved from one place to another. Their tents are woven from camel hair.


Whichever kind of shelter people live in, it needs to provide protection from heat, cold, rain, snow, storms and floods.


Bedouins live in cool tents.
