Small Furries Designed for our younger adventurers, this includes the cute and cuddlier animals at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park. Does your little one want a pet? Why not let them meet our small furries to help you decide. Have a snuggle with our calm guinea pigs, play with the mischievous ferrets or groom one of our rabbits. Other animals may be included.
Tickle a Tapir Have you ever wanted to tickle South America’s largest land mammal? If so, come and meet Teddy and Tip Tap, our two adorable lowland tapir who love nothing more than a good chin scratch or belly rub.
Ring-tailed Coati Help the keepers provide some enrichment for these curious creatures who are great problem solvers. These guys are well adapted for life in the trees and finding ingenious ways to get food, so see if you can challenge them.
Farmyard Friends Love your domestic animals? Then this animal experience is for you. Feed the playful pygmy goats and meet our friendly goat, Simba, who loves human attention and a good scratch. See our rare breed piglets and hear all about the work we do to support them. The ever-hungry sheep are always happy to meet and greet new people for the small price of some food.
Donkeys & Ponies Would you like to help the keepers give our donkeys a good groom? Lily, Peggy and Indi love being pampered and getting spoilt, so join us in making sure they get the TLC they deserve. Also, meet our ponies, Bella and
Jazz, who always welcome people with food with a friendly nicker.
Meerkats Join one of our experienced keepers and meet our mob of mischievous meerkats. Give our furry, South African friends their favourite snacks and learn how they work together in the wild to survive harsh desert climates – don’t forget your camera!
What you need to know
Duration: 30 minutes Minimum participation age: 8 years
Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
Our experiences include entry to the farm and wildlife park for the whole day (additional guests pay the standard entry free).
