Well, what a summer we’ve had – it’s defi nitely one that we’ll never forget, that’s for sure – and I can’t believe that we’re already rolling into autumn!
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome you all back aſt er what felt like forever in lockdown ‘groundhog-day’, and I’d like to say a massive thankyou for your ongoing support as we all get used to a new way of doing things here at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.
I’m delighted that the measures we’ve introduced to keep you safe and healthy while you enjoy your visit all seem to be working really well and everything’s ticking over as it should do, thanks to our dedicated team and your patience and understanding.

We’re now busily preparing for autumn and the colder months ahead, and your support for our animals and conservation work is needed now more than ever as we continue along the road to recovery during challenging times.
In this issue, we look at how many animals are in danger of extinction as a result of climate change and other factors, and how we’re working hard to ensure that they survive – from bees and hedgehogs to rare breeds and lowland tapir.
We can’t wait to share T e Good Life with you this season – and you must keep an eye out for the cameras as they fi lm for Channel 4’s Autumn at Jimmy’s Farm.
We’ve a sneaky feeling that fame has gone to our mischievous meerkat Steve McQueen’s head and he’ll be doing his best to steal the show!
