home really well and they are doing great,” says Stevie. “Nobody’s been spat at yet, which is really nice!”
Age: 11 This handsome boy is the leader of the group; wherever he goes, the others will follow. His favourite thing is when ranger Jay brings him some willow browse.

Age: 5 The tear in Mystic’s ear makes him look like a bad boy, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. He’s timid at fi rst, but very gentle and loves to be fed by kids. He’s the least dominant and the baby of the group.

Age: 6 Half guanaco and half Suri alpaca, José looks a little different to his friends. He’s a boisterous guy and loves to charge up and down the hill in his paddock with the wind blowing through his long dreadlocks. José has been known to spit at the rangers when he gets given his breakfast – but never at paying guests!
