Animal Experiences

Trying to fi nd a gift for the animal enthusiast in your life? Or maybe you just want to give a gift that is a little bit different.

We offer a range of experiences at the farm and wildlife park where you can get up close and personal to some of our charismatic animals.

It’s a truly memorable experience for all involved!

Join one of our experienced and knowledgeable keepers who will give you the low-down on your chosen animal. You will get the opportunity to learn about them while:

• Spending some time in the enclosure with the animals • Feeding the animals • Providing some enrichment for them • Grooming or bathing the animals

Please note that animal experiences will be available as soon as social distancing measures allow.

Ultimate Encounter Fancy a face-to-face with a croc?

We’ve been working hard to extend our crocodile enclosure to provide a training and safety area by Christmas; this will allow the ultimate ‘Crocodile Crunch’ encounter with our two female Morelet’s, Maya and Maria.

Have you ever wondered how big the largest rodent’s teeth are? Well, come and meet our capybaras, feed them and see their gnashers up close!

Also, you might get to meet and feed our impressive reindeer herd or mingle with our wonderful wallabies at Outback Safari. Have a chinwag with our friendly albino wallaby, Jenson, who loves a scratch and a stroke.

Reptile Madness Crazy about all things scaly? If your answer is ‘yes’, then this animal experience is for you. You will be taken on a journey to our tropical house where you will meet some of our cold-blooded friends, including snakes, tortoises, lizards, and dragons!

Bathe Africa’s largest tortoise, the Sulcata, or face your fears handling one of our royal pythons. The Australian bearded dragon may not be a real dragon, but it’s just as interesting.
