Weddings
What was your wedding theme? We wanted to have a rustic and country feel to our day. We collected jars or pots for fl owers and we used items from our family’s garden.
What did you do to make your wedding personal to you both? We decided that we didn’t have to stick to the traditions with weddings. We kept the ceremony to a small number; both Hannah’s mum and dad walked her down the aisle and we did a short, combined speech before we sat down to eat. We decided it was our wedding and we wanted to make sure it suited us.
What was your most memorable part of the day? T e funniest part of the day has to have been going on the bouncy pillow. Hannah’s hair fl ew everywhere and we both fell over several times, but it was so worth it. We all laughed a lot and it was diffi cult trying to persuade everyone to go in for dinner!
What song did you have as your fi rst dance? All about You, McFly.
What was your favourite
wedding purchase? T ere were two favourite wedding purchases: Upgrading to the Celebration Tent; when we fi rst booked, this tent wasn’t at Jimmy’s Farm. When it was installed, Hannah, in particular, was thrilled as she dreamt of having a tent like this, but we didn’t think it was possible. We were so happy we had it for the ceremony and for the evening. T e band were incredible and really got everyone dancing for the whole evening. We would 100 per cent recommend getting a band and, in particular, T e Walks.

Tips from the Jimmy’s Farm Wedding Planner
Wedding Day Must Haves • A bottle of water on hand • Tissues for the ceremony
• Flat shoes for evening shape shifting
Wedding Day Do’s • Take photos on your own camera or phone of you and your bridal party getting ready. • Make some time to be with your partner alone - even for 15 minutes, take it all in, as the day goes by so fast. • Make a list of photos you would like to be taken with family members and friends - it could be overlooked if it’s not written down and organised on the day. • Book your taxi or transport back to your accommodation for the evening of your wedding in advance of your wedding date - this will save you waiting around for a cab on a Saturday evening. • Make sure you pack your overnight bag ahead of time - leaving it last minute, you are more likely to forget something or even the bag entirely. • Have fun, laugh, eat and be married!
