“Life at the farm and wildlife park has continued as normal – you can’t mothball animals – and I started posting clips on Instagram of the animals doing their thing which got such a big response. Te show really came off the back of that. “We wanted to give everyone stuck

inside the chance to see what’s going on in the countryside and to enjoy watching the animals who’ve been carrying on as normal. Spring is such a lovely time of year and there’s been so much going on,” explains Jimmy. “A small film crew quarantined

on the farm in camper vans. It was great fun having them here and totally different to my usual filming as a presenter. I think the show really captured the ethos of the farm and wildlife park and how much our team care for the animals.” Offering wildlife, farming, food

tips, gardening and science, the four-part series offered confined households the chance to see spring in the countryside unfold week by week - and a much-needed connection with the great outdoors. From amazing births to the joys

of nature in our stunning woodland, it was captivating. “Te woodland is like a cathedral of

nature,” Jimmy told viewers. “People have been cooped up and it’s made them appreciate the outdoors and nature, and whenever you’re starved of something, you crave it. “I’m really hoping that when

this whole thing is liſted people are desperate to engage with nature and the great outdoors.” Te cameras rolled as our sheep,

goats and reindeer delivered new arrivals while some of our animals became household favourites.
