SANTA ROSA, CA. ~ In 2019, Volunteer Cen- ter of Sonoma County merged with Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) in order to better serve the growing needs of local nonprofits and volun- teers.

The Sonoma

Human Race and the Bay Area Human Race will be combining efforts in 2020. With the tagline “stronger together,” the events have collectively raised more than $25M for nonprofits, schools, and community groups. “This event is all about bringing the community together for collabora- tive fundraising,” said CEO Linda Jacobs. “Organizations that par- ticipated in CVNL’s Bay Area Human Race in the past are encour- aged to sign up for the Sonoma County Hu- man Race to fundraise and raise awareness for their causes.” Non- profits, schools, and community groups can raise much needed funds for their organiza-
