Grain Craft Bar and Kitchen will open at the Lewes Ferry Terminal this year, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor seating with incredible bay views and an adjacent activity area. Grain will offer a polished casual menu, an extensive list of craft beers and cocktails, and live entertainment.
Port 251, an Italian aperitivo bar, will open in downtown Rehoboth Beach.
In Dewey Beach, the banquet hall adjacent to Nalu Surf Bar and Grill will be replaced by a 1,500-square foot outdoor patio with tiki-style tables, a waterfall and palm trees.
Revelation Craft Brewing Company of Rehoboth Beach will open a much anticipated additional location in Georgetown in late spring. The local brewery is known for their wide variety of award-winning ales, lagers, sours and even gluten free beers. The destination brewery will include a state-of-the-art brewing space, an outdoor area and a full restaurant, Grandpa’s Kitchen at Revelation Brewery, for which Revelation has partnered with award-winning chef Hari Cameron and the team at Grandpa Mac’s.
The recently opened Hideout Arcade Bar and Grill on Coastal Highway near Midway is an adult entertainment venue full of games. Over 15 TVs to watch, a unique menu, and full bar complete with adult milkshakes (hard shakes).
Thompson Island Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery and restaurant in Rehoboth Beach featuring a dining room, bar, porch, and beer garden. Its menu showcases original brews along with rotating taps that feature other local breweries. The culinary team draws inspiration from local farms, beaches and bays.
The extremely popular Agave Mexican Restaurant is expected to open a second loca- tion in summer of 2020. To be situated in downtown Rehoboth Beach, the original lo- cation is in Lewes.

The multi-phased Lighthouse Cove resort project features the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach Hotel, luxury bayside residential con- dominiums, a conference center with banquet capabilities and meeting space (Lighthouse Cove Event Center), The Lighthouse Restaurant, commercial retail space, plus interior and exterior parking. The Lighthouse Cove Event Center offers 14,600- square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space overlook- ing Rehoboth Bay, and features a large, state-of-the-art conference board room. The Lighthouse Restaurant boasts Sunset Bar on the property’s deck, as well as Dewey Beach’s first-ever recreational baywalk.
The Barn at Vanderwende Acres is a former dairy barn that has been turned into a rustic, yet elegant venue. Opened in 2019, it offers picturesque farmland views.
The Great Dune Overlook Events Venue at Fort Miles Historic Area in Cape Henlopen State Park is a new event facility with views of the Atlantic Ocean and miles of picturesque dunes surrounded by historic Fort Miles. The versatile venue offers both an outdoor pavilion and indoor area for events. Fort Miles Historical Area is a former World War II military base that was a key piece of our nation's coastal defense through the early 1970s. Today, Fort Miles is home to the Fort Miles Museum, which encompasses a gun battery, six barracks buildings, a fire control tower, an orientation building, and an artillery park.
Seaford Historical Society’s Ross Station at the Governor Ross Plantation opened recently and offers a venue for society func- tions, business retreats, history conferences, expositions, and other events. The property includes a welcome center that al- lows access for increased tours of the Ross Mansion, grounds, slave quarters, and more.
