Olympian Greg jumps in to speak at our Annual Dinner J

oining us at Colwick Hall on 19 March for the Chamber’s flagship Annual Dinner is Olympic long jumper, Greg Rutherford MBE. After a successful junior career, Greg won gold

at the London 2012 Olympics – changing his life forever and playing his part in the most successful night of British Olympic sport in history. This iconic victory began a winning streak of

gold medals. In 2016 at the Rio Olympic’s, Greg backed up his 2012 Olympic success with a further Olympic medal – he also found himself on the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom floor shortly after. Greg will be speaking about his journey to

success and the important steps he took towards cementing and maintaining his success as the country’s most decorated Olympic long jumper. It is the learnings from elite sport that Greg hopes to pass on to everyone at the dinner, no matter their goal. The Annual Dinner is the pinnacle event in the Chamber’s major events calendar. It attracts some of the most high-profile businesses from across the region. The event is a fantastic opportunity to partake in high-level networking with some of the region’s leading business figures and is an opportunity to entertain clients and cement working relationships. We will also be welcoming a political

speaker – to be confirmed in due corse. The black-tie dinner provides inspiration and opportunity to delegates in equal measure. The evening is overwhelmingly business-centric, offering recognition of the successes of business, by business.
