Trio of nominations
for recruitment firm Glu Recruit has been nominated for three awards at the Yorkshire Choice Awards in March 2020. The firm is in the running for the Customer
Service and Independent Business of the Year awards, and Managing Director Rob Shaw has been nominated for the Business Man of the Year award. The Yorkshire Choice Awards recognise and
raise awareness of Yorkshire based people and businesses that are inspirational in their chosen field and markets they serve. Since being established in 2016, Glu Recruit

Gala Tent ended the 2019 with 30% growth for December, despite the uncertainty around Brexit. This followed the news that the firm acquired an important patent in November. Jason Mace, Managing Director of Gala Tent, said: “Gala Tent is looking at a very prosperous 2020. We believe our recent growth is mainly down to trust among our many clients; we are a strong brand that produces quality innovative products for the event industry.” Jason has enjoyed some great successes
over the past years. He has also seen major traction for financial technology arm Gala Technology and is looking to create 50 jobs with nationwide opportunities offering flexible working options. In addition, the Gala Performance brand,

the third year running, and holds high hopes of enjoying a record breaking year for 2020, with the launch of several UK-exclusive products and an upgrade to a new website with full eCommerce capabilities imminent. Gala Tent has also successfully maintained its
relationship with several international distributors for Gala Tent products in Ireland, Belgium, Slovenia, Spain, Malta, Iceland and Holland.
