Dulux Trade Diamond Satinwood is now available in over 14,000 colours from the Dulux collections, and decorators can also create their own bespoke shade with the new Dulux colour match. The full range of bases has been developed following extensive trials to ensure that professional decorators can meet customer briefs while making the transition away from solvent-borne products without compromising on quality. Made for use on woodwork and trims, the water-borne paint is scuff, scrub and stain-resistant, and dries twice as fast as solvent-borne paints allowing professionals to make the most of their time and move onto the next job quickly. To tie in with their 100 year celebration, Albany are bringing out some exciting changes to their brush and roller range, this February! Albany will expand and improve their already highly successful range of products, with a focus on improving sustainability. Six new brushes have been introduced – Block, angled, stubby, sash, lining fitch and round fitch, plus a new dusting brush in a unique style not currently offered by other leading brands. The complete range has moved to synthetic filaments, with different types and designs for each brush, meaning there’ll be a brush to suit all customers. Also improved is the wallpaper hanging brush design, roller sizes and fabrics are now available in widths up to 18 inches with extra fabric types introduced. Improved roller frames offer an adjustable frame for 12-18-inch rollers with plastic bearings fitted to the 9-inch roller frame – making it more durable and less likely to jam or skid in use. Deeper roller trays are designed to hold more, with bespoke liners also available for the 4-inch and 9-inch trays. To help with the environmental impact, a number of brushes will now have a reusable closed-wallet laminated card, and all rollers will have ‘seal and save’ packaging with reduced plastic packaging on roller sets.
