ON YER BIKE! (OR RUN IF YOU PREFER...)

DULUX IS CALLING for painters and decorators across the UK to put down their brushes and pull on their sports kit to take part in the final Dulux London Revolution in 2020. For the fifth Dulux will sponsor the mass

participation event and enter a team to take on either the 155-mile two-day bike ride or one of the three run/walk distances offered in the trails part of the event. Set to be the biggest Dulux London Revolution yet and taking place 9-10 May 2020,

Team Dulux will celebrate this milestone by entering their largest to date and they want professional painters and decorators to join them. The Dulux London Revolution is also a dual sport extravaganza, so whether you are a

cyclist, or a runner or walker, there is something for everyone. Entrants will be supported before the event with regular communications, updates,

full training plans and organised training rides and runs. Team Dulux will even help new riders with their bike choice and kit list. Participants will be encouraged to help Team Dulux reach their fundraising target of

£150,000 which will jointly support AkzoNobel’s charity partner, the Outward Bound Trust and also a charity of their choice. The Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity that helps young people to defy

limitations through learning and adventures in the wild. Through tireless fundraising, AkzoNobel teams have been able to send more than 500 young people on a course that will change their young lives forever. Alistair McAuley, AkzoNobel UK & Ireland Managing Director said, “We’re so pleased

to be sponsoring this very special event for the fifth time. The Outward Bound Trust is a charity very close to our hearts, aiming to unlock young people’s potential regardless of their financial or social circumstances, through powerful outdoor adventure. It’s fantastic to be able to further support their good work through the Dulux London Revolution. “On a personal level, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking part each year and I look forward

to meeting the decorators from across the UK who take up the challenge in 2020.” Places for London Revolution are going fast, so decorators looking to take part should enter soon to ensure they don't miss out - sign up now at www.london-revolution.com
