CASE STUDY
The cabinets were all constucted offsite at the Artisan Joinery, before being transported to the Forth Décor workshop for painting.
We then attended site to repair some damage caused by installation.
Our goal was to make the repairs totally invisible to the end client and for the kitchen to be absolutely flawless. To achieve this, we used a technique called blending, every decorator’s
best friend when it comes to repair work. This is a combination of filling, sanding and painting using brush, roller or spray application dependent on the size and location of the repair. There were no difficulties completing the job to our usual high
standards, the only obstacle was the size of the project. Everything went smoothly once we got it into our workshop. The project was completed to a high standard, and we did not have a
strict timescale for completion as the high-quality end result was more important than timings. Both Artisan Joinery and the homeowner were very pleased with our
work. Simon at Artisan Joinery commented, “I know if Forth Decor carry out the work, it is always such a high standard. There aren’t many people who understand what is actually required, and fewer people still who can actually deliver it.” The client Sam said, “The standard of Paul’s work really is faultless
and its genuinely difficult to find people prepared and able to work to this standard. We were always expecting to have to be a bit of touching up, but when Paul came to site to do the final ‘paint doctoring’ we were hugely impressed, it’s invisible and so nice to meet people who genuinely care about what they do and take real pride in their work.”
