Stertil UK has been operating from its Brackmills site for almost 20 years and employs a workforce of 60. The company comprises
three operating divisions focused on loading bay equipment (Stertil Dock & Door Products), heavy-duty commercial vehicle lifts (Stertil Koni) and nationwide parts and service support (Stertil Stokvis). The last 10 years has seen
steady growth with consolidation in existing markets and impressive performance in new sectors where Stertil UK is widely acknowledged for the quality of its products and its holistic approach to providing customers with proven and innovative solutions. This success has resulted in a relentless rise in the company’s annual turnover which is predicted to hit £30m by the end of 2019. Stertil UK is one of the
operating divisions of the Stertil Group which is a global business with its headquarters and 8,000 sq metre manufacturing facility located at Kootstertille in the north of the Netherlands. The Group has also recently secured planning permission to extend its production site during 2020. In addition to the Dutch
manufacturing complex, Stertil also has production facilities in Illinois, USA to serve the North American market and in Qingdao, China to meet increasing demand from the Group’s Asian customers.

PEGASUS LIFTS STUDENT TO COMPETITION SUCCESS
Pegasus Fork Lift Truck Training is thrilled to have helped a fellow Chamber member to win a prestigious award. The firm has been helping to train staff at
food manufacturers Alpro UK Ltd for several years and were delighted when one of their students, Paul Stafford, won the Forklift Driving Challenge of the Year at the inaugural Northamptonshire Logistics Forum Fork Lift Truck Drivers Competition. Pegasus director Dawn Girardi said:
