BUSINESS ALLIANCE

ACS CONNECTING ASSOCIATION

The Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) is a unifying voice within the construction sector.

Bringing together members who work across the

lifecycle of the built environment specialising across a wide range of disciplines, CABE shares knowledge, raises standards and develops professionals, enabling them to meet the highest standards. By supporting members CABE improves

collaboration and competency ensuring buildings meet our essential human needs. Having been dissatisfied with slow connectivity and

aged IT infrastructure, it brought in ACS who audited the entire CABE set up. CABE also wanted to be more self-sufficient with their IT training and had yearned for a learning platform that could be fully adopted in-

house and enable them to embrace Office 365. ACS recommended implementing a new BTnet

leased line and replacing CABE’s old phone system with a BT Cloud Voice solution. ACS managing director Jon Thorpe

(pictured) said: “The ACS team worked closely with CABE throughout the process to ensure minimal disruption. The result is a new BT Cloud Voice solution that provides a much-needed 100% uptime guarantee for internet connectivity. The introduction of Office 365 was a big win and quickly embedded itself within CABE, thanks to the ACS training portal from which everyone can actively learn.”

The Chamber’s BUSINESS ALLIANCE GROUP is an exclusive group of influential companies. It brings together large and well-established businesses from within the county who receive exclusive benefits via their group membership
