PIONEERING THERAPY CENTRE for Children & Young People Launches New Services

tarjumpz, a centre of excellence in Crowborough that offers ground breaking services and treatments to children and young people with learning, developmental and behavioural challenges is expanding its psychological support team with the exciting addition of three new services. Acclaimed Positive


Behaviour Practitioner and ABA supervisor Andy Forsyth joins the team offering support with challenging and disruptive behaviour including extreme meltdowns and aggression. He is highly experienced in offering specialist support to those with Autism. The centre also welcomes Peet Naude who specialises in play therapy, CBT and counselling for all ages. Finally, June Brogan a family and relationship therapist who offers ongoing support, as well as reactive/emergency


therapy for those requiring immediate help. CEO Jo Brett commented, “It is an extremely exciting time for us here at Starjumpz. With the expansion of the psychological support team, we feel more than ever that we can holistically support and positively change the lives of young people with physical, emotional and psychological needs and challenges.


“Early intervention is vital and we are proud to have a great team of practitioners who can offer diagnostic assessments, alongside extensive


treatments and therapies.” Neurofeedback, a treatment widely used in the US as an alternative to, or alongside, meds is also available, helping to optimise brain function, calm the nervous system, improving attention, impulsivity, anxiety and sleep issues.
