NEXT GENERATION CHAMBER BUSINESS AWARDS 2019

@NextGenCoC #StarOfTheYear

Five worthy winners were crowned at the first ever Next Generation Business Awards. The Creative Sector Star of the Year Award

went to Reece Hussain of 123 Internet Group, who said: “I am so pleased to be able to accept such an amazing award, it is extremely motivating to know that all the hard work and dedication I have allocated to my company has been recognised. “My team are so supportive and I couldn't ask

for better colleagues. Every day at 123 Internet Group is enjoyable, positive and productive which is key for producing quality work. “When I started working for 123 Internet

Group straight from school, I never would’ve thought I would progress this quickly and gain so many skills in such a short amount of time. I would like to thank Tom Sarson, head of client partnerships, for being a great leader and always motivating me to be the best I can be.” Allen Tew was in a state of shock as he took

the Hospitality Star of the Year Award. Shaking, he said: “I’ve never won anything in

my life! It’s taken a lot for me to get here. It has been a lot of hard work, but I work with the best management and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to do what I do - I’m so grateful for that.” Nathan Taylor-Allkins was named Service

Industry Star of the Year. He said: “I’m over the moon. Just to be nominated is unbelievable but to go on and win is…well, I’m lost for words. It’s so good to see so many local businesses and business leaders in the room. It just shows what a good service Next Generation Chamber offers.” It was a double celebration for Nathan, who

was also the recipient of the Milton Keynes Star of the Year Award. “I’m absolutely amazed,” he said. “I’m really

grateful to the judges and to my mentor and boss Mike Hayward for the nomination and his continuing support. I didn’t think I’d win one, never mind two!” The Northamptonshire Star of the Year was a

fabulous gift for Parm Bhangal, who was celebrating his birthday on the night. “What a lovely birthday present,” he said. “It

has been a lovely day and this is a great way to end it. “I’m so happy to win Northamptonshire Star

of the Year. There’s a lot of young people in the room and it encourages other people to push themselves. I have a young team and I hope I encourage them to do better. I want that for everyone.”

NEXT GENERATION CHAMBER PRESIDENT CONNOR SLASBERG SAID:

“The awards night exceeded all expectations for me, personally. It was a real delight to share the evening with the winners and nominees and hear some of the success stories within our Chamber, all while supporting our Charity of the Year, Cransley Hospice. I’m already excited for next year!”
