ONE YEAR ON AS HISTORIC HOTEL’S BOSS


The general manager of the historic Cock Hotel in Stony Stratford will celebrate his first year at the helm in November. Tim Basset arrived at the 30-bedroom Greene King hotel at the busiest


time of the year - in the run up to Christmas 2018. His focus on teamwork and strengthening the workforce


through training over the past 12 months has already made an impact, improving the quality of service and food. Tim, who lives locally with his family, said: “Good old-


fashioned teamwork brings great customer satisfaction. My vision for the future is to sustainably grow all areas of the business and be well thought of in the local and wider community. Byron Roberts the hotel is working hard to give its customers a high standard food and service experience. As he steadily approaches his first anniversary at the hotel, Tim proudly


boasts that this year’s Christmas festivities will be more and merrier than ever before. Facilities include two function rooms which can accommodate up to 150


guests, an Old English Inns Pub and Restaurant offering a wide variety of food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, free parking and 30 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Hotel welcomes corporate customers looking for overnight
