TALKING BUSINESS

PHOTOS BY JANE RUSSELL PHOTOGRAPHY ‘PEOPLE

THINK A SERVICED OFFICE IS ABOUT THE BUILDING BUT

ACTUALLY IT’S ABOUT THE CLIENTS AND THE DIVERSITY OF THE COMMUNITY’

There’s always a friendly welcome at Your Office Space

FACTFILE: YOUR OFFICE SPACE

BACKGROUND: Jenny Woolford began her career as a PA to a director at Transport for London. She said: “I came into this industry by mistake really. I worked for a local software company and they bought their own premises in the boom times but by the time they’d finished it was in the bust times. I ended up transforming half of the building into a serviced office without knowing it to help keep the business afloat. I’ve stayed in the serviced office sector ever since.”

ON THE COMPANY: “You can rent an office anywhere, but we offer a lot of added value and strive to make YOS a nice inclusive place to be. Business is evolving very quickly and we are agile and open-minded to adapt our business to deliver what our customers want. We are currently focusing on the needs of the new generation of entrepreneurs and mobile workers, as well as on the working environment and its effect on health and wellbeing as we know that’s really important to people.”

ON JOINING THE CHAMBER: “I wanted to work with a partner that I knew had access to our target market and could also offer advice along the way. I knew I couldn’t do it on my own and it was a strategic partnership. It has been great for us; it is just what the business needed. We want to be an active member and it gives us access to all sorts of activity that we wouldn’t have otherwise. We’ve really got our money’s worth out of it.”
