Learn to Swim Session Dates (Monday – Friday)
Session I: June 10-June 21 Session II: July 8-July 19 Session III: July 29 – August 2 Saturdays: June 15-July 20
Rain date make-ups will be the weeks immediately following each session.
Swim Lesson Information Swim Lessons during Sessions I–III are Monday through Friday.
• The first day of every session will include skill evaluation along with a chance to meet instructors. It is very important to attend to assure proper class placement and receive guidelines for the session.
• Swim lessons will be canceled if the air temperature is below 65 degrees or severe weather conditions (thunder, lighting or tornado). Lessons can be conducted in the rain.
• For updates on cancellations you can call 15 minutes prior to the start of class either 630-879- 5235 or 630-406-5275.
Diaper Policy
Infants and toddlers, 30 months of age or younger, must wear a swim diaper, tight-fitting plastic or rubber pants or a swimsuit with a plastic or rubber lining during swim lessons. Swim diapers are available at the Quarry for $1.

Prerequisites: A parent or guardian must participate in class with toddler. Learning objective: water adjustment, water entry, front kick, bubble blowing, prone glide, underwater exploration, back float, back glide, arm movement on back, combined stroke on back, prone arm movement, combined stroke-prone, rolling over, personal flotation device, changing positions, kick up, parent safety, water exit.

Preschool BL Ages 3-5
Prerequisites: Students must be 3 years of age and ready to enter the water without a parent. Learning objectives: water adjustment, water entry, front kick, breath control, prone glide, prone float, underwater exploration, back float and recovery, combined stroke on back, beginner stroke-prone, rolling over, personal flotation device, changing direction, kick up.
