Throbbin Hood gallops into Felixstowe this October
THe Spa Pavilion Theatre, or should that be Sherwood Forest, will be filled with innuendo and rude jokes this october, when wayne Burns and his cast of scoundrels take to the stage with a pantomime, especially for grown-ups. The over 18’s adult pantomime entitled Throbbin Hood, has been written and produced by Leiston Film Theatre manager, wayne Burns, under the ‘Team B Productions’ title. with quill in hand, wayne spent many months putting together the madcap medieval romp, which was originally performed as a three-night, sell-out run at the Leiston’s prestigious cinema and theatre in September 2016, to the enjoyment of all those who were lucky enough to get tickets.
Shortly after, wayne was
invited to bring the show to the stage of Felixstowe’s popular Spa Pavilion Theatre, which re-opened its doors in 2015
and now, the cast are busily preparing for their outing to the seaside on Friday 26th october, for the special one-off performance at 8pm. In this saucy version of the familiar tale of nottingham’s favourite outlaw, Robin and his band of very Merry Men take the fair Maid Marian into their fold, when the ruthless Sheriff of nottingham decides that he wants to imprison her at his castle on the hill for his own pleasure! Luckily, Robin is aided by Friar Tuck, who has a dirty habit and the not so little John, to help rescue Robin’s one true love. The cast, all of whom
are experienced am-dram performers and who have volunteered their time to join wayne on stage and raise a chuckle or two, are looking forward to supporting the venue and bringing the show to a larger stage. Tickets are already

By taking action now you can enjoy the company of family and friends without feeling stressed or embarrassed about not being able to follow the conversation. Local hearing care specialists
