Next Generation Chamber has welcomed two official patrons, as well as pioneers for its inaugural Committee, less than a year since its conception. Respected top 40 accountancy firm Mercer & Hole was first to give
its backing to the initiative, which supports the business leaders of the future, swiftly followed by the multiple award-winning University of Northampton. Next Generation Chamber of Commerce celebrates its first
anniversary this October with circa 100 members on its books. The inaugural Committee was recruited last month and Committee members will be responsible for managing the performance of the Chamber’s activities and representing the interests of the members. As an ambassador they will promote the Chamber’s aims and
objectives as appropriate across the business community. Chamber chief executive Paul Griffiths said: “Next Generation Chamber helps young professionals across all sectors to add value to their careers through a range of activities and services that they can get involved in and shape themselves. “It gives them the opportunity to learn from business leaders and to
work with their peers to develop new skills, knowledge and best practice. “We are delighted with how it has been received by members and
by the wider business community including our much valued patrons and look forward to seeing it progress and flourish further through the new Committee.”
