ISSUE SPOTLIGHT: CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT

THE RISE OF CS2 SURVEYORS

Life began for CS2 Surveyors in 1999, when a small team of specialist building and quantity surveyors left a large multi- disciplinary practice, to form their own company and deliver customer focused surveying and consultancy services. CS2 has gone from strength to strength and has a growing

team of over 70 commercial property experts and offices based in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London, Milton Keynes and a head office in Northampton. Managing director, Andrew Mather said: “The national spread of

our offices allows us to offer the most flexible and efficient service possible, ensuring clients receive consistent and reliable advice, every time. We’re extremely proud of our client base which ranges from local agents, landlords, tenants, retailers, fund managers, investors and major financial institutions.” The CS2 team offers many services, including professional advice

on property and construction, producing detailed condition reports, identifying defects and advice on repair and maintenance options. They advise on the restoration and maintenance of existing buildings, project managing the design and development of new buildings. Their work ranges from designing large, multi-million pound structures to modest adaptations and repairs. They get involved with buildings of architectural or historic importance, advise on preventative measures to keep buildings in good condition and look for ways to make buildings sustainable.
