Englander E-Gel Hybrid Combines The Latest In Cooling And Support Technology

By Christopher Shriever Offering new applications of the latest cooling and support technologies, En- glander will debut its new E-Gel Hybrid at the summer Las Vegas Market. Retailing for $1,099 in queen, this new offering pro- vides advanced temperature regulation and contouring comfort. The new E-Gel Hybrid is made with the

exclusive CoolBlue Sleep Technology, which features permanently bonded foam and gel cells. Additionally, the mattress includes hun- dreds of fully encased coils with perimeter edge reinforcement for extra support. By employing additional layers of infused mem- ory foam, the enhanced hybrid model grants

consumers comfortable sleep with reduced vibration and motion transfer. “When it comes to the benefits of the hy- brid mattress and a cool sleep experience, the consumer has spoken and told us they want both,” said Englander President, Kevin Toman. “The E-Gel Hybrid now delivers the support plus the CoolBlue Technology that has been integral in the success of the E-Gel from its initial launch.” Designed to conform to the sleeper’s body shape for pressure point relief, the E-Gel ma- terial supports the entire length of the body without pressing back against it. Promoting proper spinal alignment with adaptive weight distribution throughout the body, it also ab-

sorbs pressure to isolate movement and encourage undisturbed, better sleep. The gel-infused foam in E-Gel creates a tempera- ture regulating surface that delivers superior contouring benefits to help individuals fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Visit englander.com

Spring Air Debuts New Upscale Mattress Collection With A Rich Velvet Cover By Gretchen Kast

Spring Air International is upping its design prowess by introducing a mattress collection featuring a luxurious velvet cover, a first in the mattress category. Unveiling at the sum- mer Las Vegas Market, the new eight-model Spring Air Special Edition line is dressed in the company’s signature blue and white—while the velvet provides eye-catching visual appeal that is sure to stand out on retail floors. “We found the velvet this year at ISPA Expo in Charlotte and thought it would be a great addition to the line,” said Nick Bates, presi- dent of Spring Air. “The fabric is dramatically different from other mattress fabrics currently in the marketplace, and it delivers a unique look and feel to the designs. Our product de- velopment team took the velvet and created a great lineup.”

The Spring Air Special Edition collection also marks the company’s first edge-to-edge coil mattress designs, which offer a larger sleeping surface and a firmer edge. Each mattress in the line-up is designed with a sturdy edge-to-edge coil unit, zoned foam and gel poly in the quilt for durability. Combined with the velvet cover, the collection delivers a sumptuous look and feel at a price point that ranges from $599 to $999 in queen. “We have been very strategic in our deci- sion to hold off on an edge-to-edge program, because we’ve seen too many coil units that didn’t hold up to our specifications and quality demands,” Bates said. “For Spring Air Special Edition, we’ve found the right supplier with the quality components that meet our exact- ing standards.” Visit springair.com
