Don’t Forget Our Furry Friends Have Teeth Too! Upbeat in Carcassonne, France!

Petaluma, CA. ~ We all know that the best way to care for our teeth and oral health is to brush and floss and go to our dentist for regular professional cleanings. Did you

know that our furry

friends, our cats, dogs and even horses all need dental care too? The

sue is periodon- tal (gum) dis- ease, when dental plaque (which contains bacteria) builds on our pet’s teeth. If it isn’t removed by daily brush- ing and regular professional

biggest is-

cleanings, inflammation, swell- ing, bleeding gums and tooth loss can cause our pets pain and illness. Dental disease can also result in bad breath, painful chewing and tooth loss. So what’s the GOOD NEWS?

Let YOUR regular teeth clean- ing appointments be a reminder to you to take your favorite furry friend to their appoint- ments too! It is recommended that their teeth be brushed daily and they should have a professional cleaning at their veterinarian’s of- fice once a year af- ter they are 3 years old. Special chew toys can also be a treat the can help keep that tartar

away. So don’t forget to give your pets some special love and get their teeth cleaned today!

ABOUT: Inhabited since the Neolithic period, Carcassonne is located in the Aude plain between historic trade routes, linking the Atlantic to the Mediterranean sea and Mas- sif Central to the Pyrenees. Its strategic importance was quickly recognized by the Ro- mans, who occupied its hilltop until the demise of the West- ern Roman Empire. In the fifth century, it was taken over by the Visgoths, who founded the city. Its strategic location led successive rulers to expand its fortifications until the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659.

Early Summer Guide JOKES & Humor # 4

A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a pretty lady sitting at the next table. He has been looking at her in admiration since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her.

Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket toward the man. He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back.

‘Oh my, I am so sorry,’ the woman says as she pops her eye back in place.

‘Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,’ she says.

They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and after- wards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens.

After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for breakfast in the morning. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.

The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy is amazed. Everything had been SO incredible! ‘You know,’ he said, ‘you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet?’

‘No,’ she replies. . . 707- 585-0226
